"Despite our new home in The Plaza at Town Square being less than half the square footage we lived in previously, we have thoroughly enjoyed being in a smaller space and a slower pace of life as a family during this time at home. Our two kids often use the study just off the kitchen for video games and building Lego. And the built-in double desk serves as a perfect classroom space for distance learning. My husband has enjoyed grilling on the back porch and we’ve slowed down to savor every meal at the kitchen table as a family. The huge kitchen island is the hub of the house and has been used for making slime, building military models, coloring paper Easter eggs, and sewing during the quarantine. We’ve enjoyed sunsets from the front porch swing and waving to countless neighbors as they pass by walking. On warmer days, our family has appreciated having a community to get out and explore while walking our dogs around the pond or riding bikes through the wooded bike trail."
