Oklahoma Stands Strong Against the Recession Again

Last week, MSN article proudly published a BusinessWeek ranking of the nation's top 40 metro communities and their strength and ability to pull out of the economic and employment recession. Proudly, they announce that Oklahoma City rank as the third "Strongest US Metro". BusinessWeek.com ranked these top cities based on job growth, employment, economic growth and home prices.

"The Oklahoma City metro area, which includes the state capital, is an oil and natural gas center that is home to Devon Energy and Chesapeake Energy. Home prices grew 2.1% in the second quarter compared with the same period a year earlier."
