The Plaza at Town Square is an upcoming “Lock and Leave” community in Edmond, OK. In a recent interview with McCaleb homebuilder Caleb McCaleb, NewsOK delves into the benefits of a Lock and Leave Lifestyle.

What does a Lock and Leave Lifestyle entail?

“Basically, when we say ‘Lock and Leave Lifestyle' we mean that the owners need not worry about mowing, flower beds, snow removal, exterior maintenance or security on their homes. We have crews that handle all of those things and are included in their HOA dues,” McCaleb said in the article.

As NewsOK describes, McCaleb noticed a need for this style of community when many of their homebuyers were often traveling for business or play. So, he began constructing an appealing community that was quite nearly worry free, whether residents were home or away.

The article also details how this type of housing has the appeal that carries over to several generations of homebuyers; from Baby Boomers to Millenials. The focal market especially being to families or individuals who are part-time residents with multiple residencies.

Additionally, the article mentions the many amenities included in the community, including the 7000 sqft Clubhouse and the 5000 sqft of outdoor living area that includes everything you could ever want in a suburb.
